Is VIP72 Coming Back? Yes — Here's What Changed

Short answer: VIP72 is back. The service is live at vip72.net with the same residential SOCKS5 proxy pool, the same desktop client, and the same city/ISP-level targeting that made VIP72 the go-to anonymity tool for 15 years.

What Happened to VIP72

VIP72, also known as V.I.P. Services, operated from approximately 2006 to 2021. It was one of the oldest and most well-known SOCKS5 proxy services, reachable at vip72.com, vip72.org, and vip72.asia. Around 2021, the service went offline quietly and never came back. The original operators did not make a public statement.

After the shutdown:
• Old domains were squatted or expired
• Scammers began selling "VIP72 accounts" and "VIP72 downloads" that were actually malware
• Thousands of users lost their account balances with no way to recover
• The search for alternatives like 911 S5 began (which itself shut down in 2022)

What's the Same

• Residential SOCKS5 proxies — 16,500+ IPs across 190+ countries
• Desktop client — same familiar interface with country/city/ISP filters
• Per-proxy pricing — from $0.07 per proxy, no per-GB fees
• Unmetered bandwidth — unlimited traffic on all plans
• Encrypted connections — your real IP hidden even from proxy nodes
• No logs — proxies don't record or modify headers

What's Different

• New domain — vip72.net (old .com/.org/.asia expired)
• Crypto-only payments — USDT, Bitcoin, TRX, Litecoin (no more WebMoney/PerfectMoney)
• New management — independent team, not the original operators
• Old accounts gone — pre-2021 balances and credentials cannot be restored
• Instant activation — credentials emailed after 1 blockchain confirmation

Is It Legit?

The service runs the same SOCKS5 proxy infrastructure. The client works the same way. Prices are in line with the original. The only way to confirm is to try the $5 Demo plan — 20 proxies, enough to verify quality before committing.

Warning: Do not trust any other site claiming to be VIP72. Only vip72.net is legitimate. Sites selling "VIP72 premium accounts" or "VIP72 free download" are scams distributing malware.
